    I googled for diabetic/renal recipes and came across your site. Wow. How ironic that your tragedy was my uplift for the day. Please let me explain: I have just returned from Orange County Calif. to help take care of my mother who also suffers from Diabetes and renal failure. She is a “newbie” to dialysis, and it has been a real eye opener to her as well as her four children, myself included. Having been out there two weeks, I got to meet all her doctors, the dialysis techs and my mom’s new group of best friends who also await their turn for their life-saving “cleanse.” I came home depressed because I know what lies in store for my mother until I read your blog. My spirits lifted because you are still in the game, an altered version, but yet still in and fighting. Unfortunately, my mom is not techno-savvy so she will not be able to read your entries, but I will notify my siblings of your website and they can print them out for her. Thank you so much for your courage and determination. It’s awesome how you incorporate your God-given talent for writing to enlighten others on this subject. Again, many thanks..
